Welcome back to another Industry Insights – I’m Jena, our SR. Director of Digital Content & Media here at EOR. It’s safe to say 2021 has been eventful.. to say the absolute least. With so much disruption in the world these past few years, great music is more meaningful now than ever before! All craziness aside, EDGEOUT stuck to our core mission: to curate young musicians into the future generation of rock. This year, we did just that! Let’s take a look back at 2021…

ASHBA has been busier than ever, with : his most recent music video, Bella Ciao, has gained over 650 thousand views on YouTube, not to mention the streaming success. ASHBA also debuted an entirely new genre, Guitar Dance Music, at Epic Events Center in Green Bay Wisconsin. ASHBA then proceeded to sing the national anthem at an NFL home game for the Packers. He furthered his appearances in presenting and performing at both the 13th annual MMA awards in Las Vegas AND the OneVegas Sports Gala at Allegiant Stadium. It’s only the beginning for the abducted fans and ASHBA!
This year The Revelries released three singles – plus a bonus holiday track rendition of the classic “Jingle Bells.” In order of releases, we had Cliche Love, Little Things and So High.
The band kept busy with a plethora of local shows in Nashville, TN– and is excited to continue into 2022 to release an album.
Our Oregon based band, Bluphoria, wrapped up their development program this year and are prepping for a cross-country road trip to Nashville, where they will record their debut album with grammy-nominated producer Mark Needham. They have rocked their way up and down the coast of Oregon this year, playing more live shows than we could count. We can’t wait to see what 2022 brings for this breaking band.
The Jacks started 2021 with a Distribution deal with EDGEOUT, where they released three singles to prelude their specialty project album, Slowdance on September 15th. They then hosted a live show at the Fonda Theater in California to celebrate the album release. You can listen to all tracks from The Jacks on any streaming platform!
Our most recent signing, Stratejacket – has hit the ground running with development after joining the edgeout family in the second half of this year. Apart from local live shows and CONSTANT band-practice to perfect their craft in development, The california based-band is working heavily with our head of A&R to create some new tracks for you all to enjoy in 2022.
EDGEOUT has had a great year curating the new generation of rock and roll – with both our artists and internal team. We have exciting projects coming this new year – so be sure to stay tuned. Until then, have a very happy new year and make 2022 ROCK!
